Research and development work
MCAT undertakes research and development work with clearly defined objectives – practical, application-oriented, and customized. Typical tasks include the separation of contaminants from customer materials, the optimization of reactions to increase yield, purity, or efficiency, and the development of new substances, for example, for materials science applications.
Projects are carried out in close coordination with the customer – structured, solution-oriented, and with technical precision. Upon request, we also implement complex models from the scientific literature on a laboratory scale and test their technical feasibility. All work is carried out under real-world conditions and is documented in a professional manner – from the initial idea to the final feasible solution.
Research projects at MCAT benefit from over 25 years of experience in preparative chemistry and a team that not only recognizes challenges but actively considers them. We quickly understand complex requirements, efficiently translate scientific concepts into practice, and consider the technical feasibility of every task. Our laboratory equipment enables us to safely conduct even sensitive processes – for example, under inert gas, at low temperatures, or under pressure. We are particularly sought after when it comes to solutions that go beyond standard procedures.
Do you have a specific question, a technical problem, or an idea for a new product? We analyze your objectives, assess feasibility, define the solution, and support your project from laboratory testing to documented implementation. Whether it’s a single optimization or a completely new development – we work with you in a structured, transparent manner and in close coordination.
