Our Services
Custom syntheses
MCAT offers custom syntheses for complex, rare, or commercially unavailable chemical compounds – precisely implemented according to customer specifications. Our experienced team of preparative chemists develops customized synthesis routes, performs multi-step syntheses, and, if necessary, scales up processes to industrial scale.
We work under defined conditions – e.g., under inert gas, at low temperatures, or under pressure – and guarantee the highest quality, discretion, and documentation. Synthesis is carried out on a contract basis, in close cooperation with the customer, and can involve both small and medium-sized batches.
- Metallocenes (especially zirconium and titanium compounds – some of which are exclusively commercially available worldwide)
- Transition metal complexes (platinum, palladium, nickel, and other complexes for catalytic applications)
- Noble metal compounds (e.g., based on rhodium, iridium, or ruthenium)
- Ligands & chelating agents (for coordination of metal centers or for catalysis)
- Main group element compounds (e.g., silicon, phosphorus, boron, or sulfur compounds)
- Chemical building blocks for click chemistry (e.g., azides, alkynes, functionalized aromatics)
- Organometallic compounds (for special synthetic applications or materials research)
- Special compounds based on literature references (especially those that are not commercially available)
A modern laboratory with a wide range of technical capabilities is available for the implementation of customized custom syntheses. These include reactions under inert gas, at low temperatures, or under pressure – ideal for sensitive or reactive substances. Flexible reaction equipment enables precise small-batch preparations as well as complex multi-step syntheses.
Every commissioned synthesis begins with your inquiry: Whether it’s a literature connection, your own idea, or a specific need – we assess feasibility, advise on the optimal approach, and precisely implement your requirements. The project is carried out in close coordination – flexibly, solution-oriented, and documented to the highest standards.
